About Us
An executive pastry chef in Chicago, Jim has worked in restaurants for 11 years. Margaret, a musician and singer, studied music business at New York University and completed her master’s degree in international public service at DePaul University. Jim and Margaret are passionate about using their skills to serve the oppressed, and have participated in mission work and sustainable development projects in the Philippines, Bolivia, Mexico, and Uganda. They plan to begin long-term service in Soroti, Uganda in 2010 as part of Team Beyond.
